In 2009, seven year old Matthew Grammer was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. To help keep his spirit up, the folks at the Tulsa Make-A-Wish set out to help make his Star Wars dreams come true by making him a drivable R2-D2.
The geeky R2-D2 go kart was unveiled to Matt at a Star Wars themed pep-rally organized by the seniors at Bishop Kelley high school, where Matt had the chance to ride inside R2-D2 and slay Sith lords and pretty much anyone who got in his way.
