A man identified by police as Wesley Strellis, smashed 29 flat screen televisions on display at the electronics department in a suburban Atlanta Walmart.
Surveillance video captured the footage of Strellis grabbing a metal baseball bat and smashing flat screen televisions on display while stunned shoppers backed away.
According to the police, Strellis destroyed 29 televisions sets before throwing the bat away. He was arrested a few minutes later.
Altogether, the 29 TVs are reported to be valued at more than $22,000. Police say they’re still trying to figure out what may have prompted Strellis’ outburst.
