Comedian Mark Malkoff sets out to disprove the myth that New York is unfriendly by attempting to transport himself from the southern most end of Manhattan as far north possible only by having people on the street physically carry him along the way (that’s about 13.5 miles).
The stunt was attempted on December 18, 2009, and the final edit and cut of the stunt is now out on YouTube. All in all, 155 different people hoisted Mark 9.4 miles and took the stunt in good humor. It looks like a ton of fun, and hey, I guess New Yorkers aren’t all that bad after all!
