While you mainly hear about the world’s records for things like fastest mile, it is the more obscure records that have made the Guinness Book of World’s Records so popular for generations. Today we are getting news about one of those obscure records, and it is definitely one of the more hair-raising records in the book.
After years of trying, A Minnesota man named Joseph Grisamore has finally broken the Guinness World Record for the world’s highest mohawk. The hairstyle measures in at 42.5 inches from the top of his head. Amazingly, this was not his first attempt at breaking the record. He had originally tried to capture the record back in 2007, but he fell just a little bit short of what he needed. We aren’t sure if he gave up for a decade, or if his hair just grows really slowly, but either way. We salute you!
