Sadly, even in today’s world, monkeys have trouble breaking through the grass ceiling. The good news is that they aren’t just laying down for it any more. A study was done that proves monkeys know when they don’t get rewarded for a task as well as their friends… and they are not going to stand for it.

He is the Charles Howard Candler professor of Primate Behavior in the Emory University psychology department in Atlanta, Georgia, and director of the Living Links Center at the Yerkes National Primate Research Center and author of numerous books including Chimpanzee Politics and Our Inner Ape.
