I love my mom, but Caleb Peterson LOVES his mom… and they could end up in jail because she’s been lovin him back. Monica Mares, of New Mexico, gave her son up for adoption when he was just a baby. As he grew, Caleb became more and more curious about his birth mother and he eventually reached out to her on Facebook. Things went so well that he actually moved in with her when he turned 18. From there, they are arguing as their defense, something called Genetic Sexual Attraction took over. As Mares described it to the Daily Mail, “Nothing can come between us—not courts, or jail, nothing.”
As it turns out, the 36 year old mom/ lover might be wrong. The two of them currently stand accused of incest and are facing three years in prison if court is not moved by their love of family.
