New Kia’s Ad Campaign In Question For (Pedo)Bearing A Pedophilia Theme

Kia, the Car company Kia has some explaining to do after their new ad campaign was blasted for being offensive and bearing a pedophilia theme.

Two ads were created by the Brazilian agency Moma One depicted a sexual situation between a male teacher and an underage student; the other shows two children depicted in a classic Sleeping Beauty fairy tale theme long side an an adult-oriented reinterpretation.

The ads were intended to highlight Kia’s hot-and-cold dual air conditioning zones for driver and passenger.

I suppose to Kia and Moma’s credit, the ads could just be read as “sex” and not necessarily carrying a pedophilia theme. While, I’m not out to condemn Kia, I do have to wonder what they were thinking approving the ads.
