If you’ve ever given blood, or had an IV put in, then you know that a lot of nurses and doctors suck at finding your veins. They miss, it hurts, and you are left with an annoying bruise. Well, now there’s some new technology that could make drawing blood a lot easier.
Despite how it looks, the the Veinviewer isn’t an x-ray. It actually uses a near-infrared camera to find your veins and then projects the image onto your skin in real time. It’s like the world’s smallest and most anatomically correct drive-in theater.
