Here’s a great video released by the Academy Award winning team over at Studio ADI showcasing the original makeup test for Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin in Sam Raimi’s “Spider-Man” film. According to CBM, this Green Goblin design was what Raimi originally had in mind for the character in his first Spider-Man directed film. As fans can tell, it’s completely different than how the costume design actually turned out. While the design isn’t perfect, it’s still pretty cool as it leaves the Goblin looking much more organic and mutated rather than test suit helmet shaped like a goblin, which if you really think about, makes no sense.
Anyway, check out this incredible video and let us know which you prefer!
