PETA is back with an all new campaign and this time they blame you for the killing of unwanted shelter dogs! In their new Adopt Don’t Buy campaign, PETA’s new PSA features some heavy dose of guilt tripping essentially claiming that if you buy one puppy you’re killing one shelter dog. Apparently to PETA that logic makes perfect sense.
As much as I am for the ethical treatment of animals, this campaign kind of makes you wonder how low PETA will go with their advertising stunts. As if they can go any lower than featuring puppies in doggie bags and then blame you for killing shelter dogs. What next? If you don’t adopt a shelter dog we kill them and broadcast it through a live web feed?
