Sido has produced a line of samurai-themed underwear that resembles the armor of famous Japanese samurais. Made from a type of fabric resembling medical cotton gauze, Sido’s samurai-themed underwear has been a sold out runaway success.
A pair will set one modern day samurai back roughly 12,000 yen. But don’t think about trying to order a pair on Sido’s website, you’d have to try your luck at department stores in Tokyo. The Oda Nobunaga (shown below along with the Tokugawa Ieyasu) underwear is scheduled to hit stores in January.
Sido also announced that these will be sold in New York and Paris very soon.
