We really don’t like to get political here at YBMW, but once in a while, something pops up that we can all agree on. This new music video from Hisham Fageeh is one of those things.
It is widely known that the concept of women’s rights is something that is just starting to emerge in parts of the middle east. Just look at Malala Yousafzai, who was shot in the head just because she wanted an education.
Fageeh, under his YouTube channel, Alaa Wardi, has just posted an acapella version of the Bob Marley Song, No Woman, No Cry. The parody is called No Woman, No Drive and it touches on the lack of rights that many women have in certain cultures and just how absurd they are.
