Scientists Create Melt-Resistant Ice Cream

Some scientists in the UK have discovered a new type of protein that would help frozen food from melting.

“The protein binds together the air, fat and water in ice cream, creating a super-smooth consistency.”

That means that within the next five years, we’ll have ice cream that doesn’t melt… at least not nearly as fast.

While this sounds cool… something about it sounds a little mad sciency. For example. You are sitting on the park bench, eating your melt resistant ice cream. Suddenly, a storm rolls in and you get struck by lightning. The new protein fuses to your system and you are now the new Mr. Freeze. You will never be able to touch another living soul without giving them freezer burn. No thank you. In the battle between sex and ice cream, I’ll take the sex. At least it won’t give me diabetes.
