I think I’d be pretty pissed off right now if I was one of the singers who came in second or third place. After all, there is something to be said about going on national TV and showing off the voice you’ve been training for years, only to get beaten by a dog who can dance and do some tricks. Especially, when the dog just won a half million pounds. Hell, the dog would have been happy with one pound of bacon. Honestly… right now, I’d be very happy with one pound of bacon, but that isn’t really the point.
If any of the judges was a true cheerleader for Ashleigh and Pudsey, it was Simon Cowell, who said:
‘I think Pudsey is training you. One of my favourite ever acts. You know how much I love dogs. I adore both of you Ashleigh and Pudsey. You’ve got better and better. What you’ve done is such a short time is a miracle.’
