It is pretty amazing that they have yet to actually make a real live-action film version of Macross/ Robotech. When I was a kid, Robotech was one of the shows that I had to watch whenever it was on. the transforming Valkryies have always been some of my favorite sci-fi vehicles. If they can make the Transformers movies than surely they could make this.
Well, they haven’t, but that is ok, because the fans in Mexico have taken it upon themselves to make it happen on their own. They just released a short trailer for their film, called the “Robotech Valkryie Project.”
Superman is currently scheduled for release on July 11, 2025
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
