Finally, a song to sing to yourself while you sit there waiting for Sony to fix their online network! If you are one of the 77 million people who have a membership to the Playstation Network, then you are already aware that you can’t get online and a group of hackers have possibly stolen your personal information. Seems like kind of a harsh cosmic punishment for wanting to play Portal 2 or MK9.

Well, one man feels your pain and he’s put his pen to paper to share his feelings on the matter. As an added bonus, he took the tune from Jonathan Coulton’s end song from the first Portal game, “Still Alive”.

This Sony appliance
I’m making a note here: PSN
It’s like a paperweight, this old playstation
In their defiance
The hackers have bust
it ’cause they can.
For the good of all of us.
Except the network is dead.

But there’s no sense crying at the message displayed.
You just keep on trying till the games can be played.
Turn the Xbox back on,
And you act a bit smug.
Like the people on Xbox Live.

I’m not even angry.
I’m being so sincere right now.
Even though you broke my heart
last weekend.
With major releases,
I had to play offline, so unfair.
So I’m now blocked off, from the coooperative half
Of Portal 2!

Now my personal data’s out there somewhere online,
So thanks for that, Sony.
You incompetent swine.
So I’m GLaD. we got burned.
Think of all the things we learned
from the people on Xbox Live.

Your servers were leaky,
And that is how hackers got inside.
Maybe you’ll find someone else to help you.
Maybe Nintendo
Fils-Aime won’t be afraid,
To stick his Wii in your face.

Look at me still talking
when you’ve got repairs to do.
When I look out there, it makes me GLaD I’m not you.
I’ve other games to run.
and Gears of War is fun
With the people on Xbox Live
And when you’re down I’m on Xbox Live
I’m playing Halo on Xbox Live
I’m playing UNO on Xbox Live
Showing my penis on Xbox Live
Getting banned from Xbox Live

Xbox Live
