Tasmanian Tightrope Walker Defies Death At 150 Feet

I would like to say that I’m impressed, but this guy is clearly cheating. My guess is that the 20 lb steel balls hanging between his legs have shifted his center of gravity and are helping with his balance.

The man you are looking at goes by the name of Jens. What you are watching him accomplish is something called slacklining at the Totempole in Tasmania. He’s over 150 feet above the ocean with only a small spire of stone in the middle to help him out. This man deserves a shot of Patron’ and his own Old Spice commercial… A parachute probably wouldn’t be a bad idea either.
