We’ve seen some great art based around 80’s cartoons, but not many of them stack up to the art of Jonathan A. Reincke Not only does have do some of the best looking art based off Masters of the Universe, but he’s got some really great pieces of everything from Frankenberry to Cesar Romero as the Joker and even some very cool artwork of Jem and the Holograms.
What makes his He-Man and other Masters of the Universe paintings so great is that they aren’t based off the cartoon, but they are super accurate paintings based off the actual toys. His art is so accurate that you’d almost think that there was a trick behind it.
Man, I’d love to see what this guy could do with the Thundercats.
