The Entire Periodic Table Of Elements As Cartoon Characters

We’ve seen all sorts of representations of the Periodic Table of Elements, but illustrator, Kaycie D. has come up with a whole new take on the matter.

She’s taken the entire table of elements and created a cartoon character for each and every one. It was part of her senior thesis project at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. It has actually been sitting online for almost two years. I’m amazed that it didn’t start to go viral before now.

She approached the project with two different ideas. Some of her elemental characters are designed around their properties and other are designed around the stories that gave them their name.
