The Living Ad – One-of-a-kind Ambient Street Billboard/Aquarium

PETA must be living, and if they’re not they should be for “sea kitten” abuse!

Ad agency Publicis recently put together this pretty cool but cruel (?) street billboard/aquarium for the Fisch Franke seafood restaurant in Frankfurt, Germany — with the tag line, “Fresh as can be.”

The ad agency claims that they did receive approval of the German federal veterinary office… but my question is who’s going to take care and feed the fish?! Assuming it is automated, my next question is, what happens to the fish afterwards? While I’m no hardcore animal activists like Hayden, I do have some reservations about this billboard even if it freaking awesome.
