Early this month a hilarious video went viral featuring two love struck koalas performing some sultry koala Sutra which upstaged a press event held at the Aussie Wildlife Sanctuary with U.S. tennis star Andy Roddick. But that wasn’t all.
The remix of the video itself caused quite a stir, particularly with its song dub and romantic melody. It’s been identified as a licensed track called ‘I Say Today’ and the artist J Dawson. We did some sleuthing and was able to track it down at BeatboxMD to confirm this.
Below we’ve included the lyrics and the complete track to J. Dawson – I Say Today. The MP3 version of “I Say Today” can be purchased and downloaded at BeatboxMD:
[audio:http://www.youbentmywookie.com/audio/JDawson – I Say Today.mp3]I wanted to be closer to you
So I could see, your beautiful face
I’d kiss every day and night in my dreams
I started out feelin lonely
I started all afraid
Now I know I’m only a float in your parade
I will not listen
I won’t stop now
I’ll wait for you
I’ll tell you how
You say no way
You say let’s wait
We need this now
I say today
You want the night
Don’t want to play
I know it’s time
It’s time that you stay
I say today.
You looked into me
Never for love
Never for free
I realize it now
How it can be
That you don’t know how
Started out feelin special
Lived without a care
But now I know I’m only
A bucket of your air
But I will not listen
I won’t ask why
And I see you smile
When you say goodbye
You say no way
You say let’s wait
We need this now
I say today
You want tomorrow
You want the world
I say today
Today you’re my girl
You say no way
You say let’s wait
We need this now
I say today
You want the night
Don’t want to play
I know it’s time
It’ time that you stay
I say today.
