What Happens When Anime Directors Make NikeiD Commercials?

For some people, sneakers are more than just footwear. They are their own religion. For people like that, Nike created NikeiD. This is an online service that gives you virtually unlimited options to customize the style and colors of your shoes.

The highly artistic process has led to lots of collaboration with some of the hottest artists in the world. Recently, they hooked up with director Koji Morimoto and Studio 4°C, to re-create the magic of the commercials they made together in 2005.

The commercial, which was made to endorse Nike iD’s newest customization feature, the addition of their classic Blazer model, is pretty damned awesome. Check it out.
