In a story that amazingly doesn’t come from Florida, a woman is being sought after evading cops her her Scooby Doo van.
The 51 year old woman took the Redding Police Department in Northern California for the chase of their careers the other day when they tried to arrest her for probation violation.
About the chase,t he police said:
“Turman’s speeds increased and she began to show a blatant disregard for motorist safety,” police said, adding that she nearly hit four vehicles.
Though police lost Turman, a California Highway Patrol helicopter later found her — again driving the “Mystery Machine” van, police said.
They went on to say that the woman took chase to upwards of 100 miles. As of right now, her current whereabouts are still unknown. It’s quite possible that she’s heading up the coast in the Mach 5 or possibly even a Deloreon.
