This might be the most interesting machine that you’ll ever see take three hundred steps to blow up and pop a balloon. Most people would just blow up the balloon and pop it with a pin, but then again, most people aren’t the Purdue Society of Professional Engineers team.
They set out to make the world’s largest and most extensive Rube Goldberg machine ever created and they succeeded.
It was actually much different than a lot of Rube Goldberg machines that I’ve seen in the past. It was very clever how they conserved space by putting most of the steps on rotating shelves.
