If there’s one thing that Japan will always be known for it’s giant monsters. Sure, you could pick Godzilla or Mothra as prime examples, but there are some other movies that take the weird and awesome nature of Giant Japanese Monsters to a whole new level. I’m talking specifically about the movie, Big Man Japan.
Here’s the description of the film off IMDB:
An eccentric man aged about 40 lives alone in a decrepit house in Tokyo. He periodically transforms into a giant, about 30 meters tall, and defends Japan by battling similarly sized monsters that turn up and destroy buildings.
Forget everything you think you know about Japanese monsters. Nothing can prepare you for the absolute weirdness of the battles from Big Man Japan.
