Nothing’s more popular recently than zombies and musicals. So why not combine the two and have an instant win? That’s exactly what writer and director Donald Munson did for his senior project at SDSU. The ever appropriately titled “Zombie Musical” blends the best of both worlds and tells the story of a girl named Sarah seeking revenge on zombies who ate and dismembered her brother, Billy.
Here’s what Munson had to say:
This film was original suppose to be a stage production of “Aliens The Musical” for my senior project at SDSU. Funny how hard it actually is to get an alien costume in Hollywood. You would think they are just on every corner. The film evolved from Aliens to Zombies through my passion for the undead. In addition, it became a Beatles song because of my high on their music at the time.
