Production Weekly’s Twitter feed just rolled out a sweet little piece of news about the new Green Lantern movie. As you probably remember,we got our hands on what is still considered to be the script for the Green Lantern Movie, and we’ve been really excited about the movie ever since.
Details are sparse on the production, but here’s what we know so far.
1. The movie is set to start filming in mid-September in Australia.
2. The director is Martin Campbell, the man behind Casino Royale… The new one, not the one with Peter Sellers.
3. The Current Release Date is slated for December 17th, 2010.
So when will we hear about casting? Our guess is that with filming beginning early fall, we should start hearing in the next month or so and I would not be surprised if there is a big panel for the film at this year’s San Diego Comic Book Convention.
