Aikiou Dog Bowl
Coolest dog bowl ever! I was actually a little skeptical about the Aikiou Dog feeder until I plopped it down in front of my favorite greyhound Ori at the Vet clinic last week. When I was younger I had three big dogs that would inhale their food. As any pet owner knows, this is not the healthiest way to eat. The Aikiou solves this problem and a few others. First, it slows down the eating process. The dog has to work to get the food and that means he can’t swallow all the food in ten seconds. Next, the bowl is a great way to stimulate your dog’s mind whether you are using it for meal time or just treats. Here is how it works. The bowl, which is oddly shaped like a paw, has several sliding door compartments. You fill them up with food or treats and then cover them with the sliding doors. In the center is a much bigger section with a big sliding wheel.
The dog has to earn his food by figuring out where it is and then opening the little hatches. We had to show Ori how it worked at first with the first toe, but after that, he was in there and finding pieces of milk bones in every compartment. When he was done, he even did a second check on it to make sure he didn’t miss anything. I could see this being a great toy/ practical dog bowl for dog owners.

Stimulo Cat feeder
There are a lot of things to like about the Stimulo, other than the fact that it looks like abandoned oil drums on the surface of the moon. Made by the same company as the Aikiou, the Stimulo is designed just for cats. Just like the dog version, it is designed to slow down an animal’s eating while stimulating its mind body. While this one doesn’t have doors that the cat needs to open, it does have several different length tubes that the cat has to dig into get their food. It is great for the cat and more fun that we’d like to admit to watch.

Pet top Drinking Device
There’s not much to say about this, just that it is a great gift for pet owners and makes a heck of a stocking stuffer.
