When we rejoin Hannibal for season 2 after the Olympics, Hugh Dancy’s character, Will Graham will be in prison, accused of being a mass murderer, while Mads Mikkelsen’s Hannibal Lecter will be presumed innocent and working ever closer with authorities in the consultant role that Graham once filled.
Today,a new trailer for the show was released, and it includes the introduction of a character who many will remember from the original books and movies: Mason Verger, who will be played by Michael Pitt. In the film Hannibal, Verger was played by Gary Oldman.
