Deadline just broke some serious news about the MCU. According to the new report, Chris Evans is going to need to head back to the gym, because he’s about to head back over to the MCU and reprise his role as Steve Rogers, AKA Captain America. We can only imagine the size of the money truck they had to back up to his front door to make this happen. Either way, all signs point to the return of the actor to the MCU.

It’s currently unknown whether he’ll be coming back as his current aged Cap, or if he’ll be popping up as old man Steve in an inspirational role for characters that need a boost in future movies and Disney+ series. It could definitely make sense for the next leader of the Avengers to seek out his council, or for either The Falcon or Winter Soldier might come to him for guidance in their Disney+ series. What we probably should not expect is Cap coming back in full-effect to lead the post-Iron Man Avengers. That role will most likely be going to Captain Marvel.
