25-year-old actress Jaimie Alexander who is best known for her work on the TV show “Kyle XY” has recently been cast to play the Norse Goddess, Sif, the Asgardian warrior and lover of Thor. So while Thor (Hemsworth) does battle with his evil half-brother Loki (Hiddleston), expect Sif to do battle with Jane Foster (Portman) for Thor and his mighty Mjolnir’s affection.
Joining her will also be actor Colm Feore. His role, however, is currently unknown. Together, Alexander and Feore will join Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Jane Foster, and Tom Hiddleston to craft the 2011 Asgardian superhero fantasy, “Thor.”
