There are a lot of great movies slated to come out in the next year, but there is no telling when they will actually drop. Disney just announced the new release slate for phase 4 of the MCU and now they are also updating us on several other highly-anticipated movies from their stable.
First up on the slot is Free Guy, which stars Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer and Taika Waititi. The movie about a video game NPC who decides to take control of his destiny was slated for release on July 3rd of this year, but will now be moved back to December 11th.
Jungle Cruise, the Disney live-action adaptation of their theme park attraction starring Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Jesse Plemons, Paul Giamatti, Edgar Ramirez and Jack Whitehall is being moved a whole year from this July to July 30, 2021.
The Bob’s Burgers Movie was originally slated for July 17 but now won’t be serving up laughs to the audience until April 9, 2021.
Finally, Indiana Jones V was slated to start filming this spring for a release of July 9, 2021. With production shut down before it ever had a chance to begin, Disney is hoping the final appearance of Harrison Ford as the world’s most interesting professor will not only get released on July 29, 2022, but fans will like it more than they liked Crystal Skulls…
