Last week, Bruce Campbell teased fans with alleged news that a sequel to the cult classic, Army of Darkness, was honestly and truly on its way. We didn’t even run the story on the site because it has been a rumor for so long that it just didn’t seem possible. Well, not only is is possible, but we now know that it IS happening and Sam Raimi will be directing it!
The news came out today when a fan tweeted to Fede Alvarez, director of the Evil Dead remake, asking if he would be directing the new sequel. His response came in three beautiful word:
Sam Raimi will!
That means we are not only going to get an Army of Darkness sequel, but both Bruce Cambell and Sam Raimi are on board!
