It’s been a long time since Kevin Smith has dipped his pen back into the viewaskewniverse, but it’s finally happening with the release of Jay and Silent Bob Reboot. The plot is pretty simple. Jay and Silent Bob find out that a reboot is being made of the film that they tried to stop from getting made back in Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back. Along the way, they seemingly run into every known character Kevin Smith has ever written (along with half of Hollywood), and Jay finds out that he’s got a love child (Millennium Falcon) played by Harley Quinn Smith. I’m sure we are in for a lot of surprises when Smith and Jason Mews take the stage later this weekend, but until then, enjoy the trailer!
Returning characters include: Ben Affleck as Holden from Chasing Amy, Matt Damon as Loki from Dogma, Jason Lee as Mallrats’ Brodie, Rosario Dawson as Becky from Clerks II, and a ton more. Not to mention appearances by everyone from Val Kilmer and Craig Robinson to Chris Hemsworth and Joe Manganiello.
