Filming has wrapped on the Snake Eyes movie and Henry Golding is clearly proud of what he’s accomplished with the film. In a new Instagram post to fans, the actor wrote:
“[A]nd THAT, is a principal wrap on Snake Eyes lady’s and gents,” Golding wrote. “What a crew we had, Vancouver + Japan, you were unstoppable. Thank you for the dedication, this film is going to blow everyone’s socks off.”
The new film is said to be a spin-off of the previous two GI Joe films in which Ray Park played the role of Snake Eyes. We are guessing that this film is a spin-off much in the same way that Bumblebee was for Transformers. What we mean is that it’s kind of a spin-off, but it’s really a soft reboot. In the new film, Golding’s Snake Eyes is “seeking revenge for his father’s death by joining a ninja clan and in the process finding acceptance.
