We aren’t even going to ask if we need to bring back the cast of Beverly Hills 90210, because the answer doesn’t really matter. We just know that it is a thing that is in the process of happening. the funny thing is that this isn’t even the first time that the show was rebooted/ revisited. Back in 2006, the CW launched an updated version of the show that actually featured appearances of several original cast members alongside a new generation of vapid teens.
The new plan is to bring back Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Jason Priestley, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green and Gabrielle Carteris for a brand new series that probably ignores the first reboot and focuses on the original series. According to multiple reports, the series is currently being shopped to various networks and streamers. It is doubtful that Shannon Doughtery will be part of the revival, as it seems like she is impossible to work with and doesn’t get along with most people. As for Luke Perry, he’s pretty busy as a series regular on the CW’s Riverdale and his upcoming role in Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.’
We’re sure that someone will watch this if they make it, we just aren’t sure whether or not they should.
