A promotional interview for Wandavision that took place with Rotten Tomatoes back on January 15th turns out to have possibly revealed more about one of the show’s characters than anyone had intended.

While interviewing Mad Men actress Teyonah Parris, about her role as the adult version of Monica Rambeau, she gave some very interesting details about what we’ll see from her both during the show as well as in future Marvel projects.

In regards to the series, Parris told the interviewer that we’ll definitely be getting into what her character has been up to since we last saw her as a child in Captain Marvel. She also teased that we’ll see what “she’s capable of, or not” by the end of the season.

Meanwhile, when it comes to her previously announced role in Captain Marvel 2, here’s what she had to say:

I am excited, just as an actress, to join Brie and Iman and see what putting these three superheroes together — the Carol Danvers Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau — [to see] what will happen in that film. But the rest- we’re just going to have to wait a few weeks before we can really talk about it.

It was interesting that she definitely referred to herself as a superhero, and she also said that we’ll be able to talk about it within the next few weeks. That means answers are definitely on the way.

We aren’t sure how things are going to pan out, but it definitely sounds like Marvel Comics’ first human Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau is finally going to get her due in the MCU.
