Here’s the never before seen original opening sequence to Bryan Singer’s 2006 “Superman Returns.” The five minute scene was eventually cut from the final release and was scheduled to be included in the sequel which was never made. The deleted scene comes to us from the new Superman Anthology Bly-ray/DVD and it’s reported that it cost $10 million to produce.
The sequence is cool, but nothing all that impressive if not a bit boring since all we see if a bunch of rocks and Superman looking ominous. Anyway, watch and judge for yourself. Then think up of better ways to spend $10M.
