Mattel has announced that they will be selling toys based on the classic Voltron from the 80’s on their website Mattycollector.com. These toys will not be available anywhere but online and will be entirely based on the classic Voltron and not the new animated series. In addition, a subscription service will be made for these collectibles similar to what Matty has been doing with their Masters of the Universe and Ghostbusters lines. This new subscription plan is being hailed as the “Club Lion Force.” You can learn more about it below with the official announcement below:

What I couldn’t tell you until now is that along with Club Eternia and Club Ecto-1, we’ll also have the all-new Club Lion Force! Dedicated to that totally awesome ‘80s TV series, Voltron, all the Club Lion Force details will be announced at SDCC and right here in our News section on Thursday, July 21st.
