I am a big Jason Freeny fan and collector. The artist, who has become famous for his “Visible Man” style customizations of popular toys, has recently started making figures that the rest of us can afford. He started off with a Gummy Bear and and Lego style figure then, followed it up rubber ducks, balloon dogs, Bugs Bunny, and the Justice League! The latter are just starting to ship now (got my shipping notice the other day from Toyqube). Now, with seven justice league figures in the can: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aqua Man, Flash, Green Lantern, and Cyborg, Freeny is turning his attention to DC’s villains: Joker, Black Manta, and Deathstroke. I really thought that Joker would be my favorite, but there’s something especially awesome about that Black Manta.
Great, now I need to find more room on my shelf.
