On this memorial day, it is important that we take a moment to honor those who have fought and died so that everyone in America could indulge in the mindless goofiness that we all take for granted.
What better way celebrate that goofiness with The Muppets. Sure, most of the Muppet Show was actually filmed in London, and the song American Woman was actually by the Canadian group The Guess Who… and it is a protest song about America’s involvement in Vietnam. But think about it, several countries coming together and people being able to speak their minds even when it is against Government… that pretty much sounds like America in a nut shell to me.
