In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the release of the very first DC comic book, 1245 Australians threw on their capes and tights and gathered together for a record setting gathering of costumed heroes. The gathering was certified by the Guinness Book of world records.
You sort of have to wonder why the folks at the San Diego Comic Con haven’t taken on this as an easy record to tackle at the show? They are expecting over 160,000 people to attend this year, you’d figure that they could get 1% of them to toss on a cape and smile for the camera.
