I never pretended that I could paint, but I like to think that I can take a decent photo. Now I’m thinking that it might just be time for me to pack it and call it a day, because Boston artist Steve Mills paints better than most of the photographs that I’ve ever taken.
For centuries, people have been drawing and painting in a realistic style, but Mills’ work puts most of their work to shame. He’s been drawing since he was a kid and has been selling his paintings since he was eleven years old.
