Are Bat-Man, Spider-Man, and Jabba The Hutt White House Interns?

No. No, they are not, but that hasn’t stopped the economists in-charge of preparing the 2019 Economic Report of the President from having a little bit of fun while putting together their annual, 700+ page report. On page 624 of the report, amidst the names of all of the real Council of Economic Advisers interns, they slipped in the names of Steve Rogers (a.k.a. Captain America), Peter Parker (Spider-Man), Bruce Wayne (Batman), Aunt May, J. T. Hutt (short for Jabbal), John Cleese, Kathryn Janeway ( “Star Trek Voyager” captain), and John Snow. The Easter Eggs were an escalation from last year’s report which included the names of James T. Kirk and Jean-Luc Picard.
