We’ve seen all kinds of art shows that pay tribute to a particular theme or creation, but we’ve never seen a tribute done with 100 different cakes. That is exactly what Cakenweenie is, 100 cakes in tribute to Tim Burton.
Everyone from professionals to home bakers participated and created cakes based on Burton as well as films like Beetlejuice, Alice in Wonderland, Nightmare Before Christmas, James and the Giant Peach, and Willy Wonka… Surprisingly, there were no Planet of the Apes cakes.
