It’s great to see kids today taking the initiative to make something of their lives. Unfortunately, so many of them are looking for a short cut and they miss important steps along the way… like medical school. This is a step that apparently Malachi Love-Robinson forgot to do, causing him to be arrested after performing a physical exam on an undercover agent yesterday.
The police were responding to a complaint about Robinson, who had previously been cited by the state health department for practicing medicine without a license in October 2015. It turns out that he had opened a medical office in West Palm Beach.
Along with his storefront, he also had a Facebook page for his business: “New Birth New Life Holistic and Alternative Medical Center & Urgent Care.”
Here’s Dr. Love-Robinson’s description from Healthgrades.com:
“I am a well rounded proffessional that treats, and cares for patients, using a system of practice that bases treatment of physiological functions and abnormal conditions on natural laws governing the human body. I utilize physiological, psychological, and mechanical methods, such as air, water, light, heat, earth, phototherapy, food and herb therapy, psychotherapy, electrotherapy, physiotherapy, minor and orificial surgery, mechanotherapy, naturopathic corrections and manipulation, and natural methods or modalities, together with natural medicines, natural processed foods, and herbs and nature’s remedies.”
I’m not sure if Doogie would be impressed or disappointed.
