Grown Man Fakes Down Syndrome To Get His Diapers Changed

In a story that surprisingly comes from Arizona and not Florida, a man was recently arrested for faking Down Syndrome. Why did he fake having a severe impairment? According to authorities, it was so that he could trick female caregivers into bathing him and changing his diaper

The alleged ass clown in question is 30-year-old Paul Menchaca. It all started when he placed an ad in CareLinx, a “nationwide professional caregiver marketplace” that connects clients with home care workers. One of the respondents to the ad, a woman named “Amy” says that when she answered the ad she was contacted by someone claiming to be Mancheca’s mom and that her son had Down Syndrom and “required diaper changes and assistance with bathing.”

It turns out that the person she was communicating with was actually Mancheca himself. Over an extended period of time, one caregiver changed his diaper on 30 different occasions during which Mancheca would aggressively complain that his genitals were not clean enough and needed to be wiped more thoroughly. Two other caregivers reported that they were hired to bathe and change Mancheca, during which he was often noticeably aroused. Multiple caregivers also reported that the fictional mother had directed them to punish her son “when he soiled his diaper by putting him in timeout and taking away his privileges.”

The scam was eventually blown when one caregiver became suspicious and followed Mancheca home after performing her duties for him at a neutral location. That’s when she met his real parents who told her that their son most certainly did not have Down Syndrome, nor did he require diaper changes.

Eventually, Mancheca admitted to lying and was arrested and charged on a four-count felony charge. He is currently free on $15,000 bond and has been forbidden from contacting any of his former diaper changers.
