All the rage last month was the “Taun Taun Sleeping Bag” by ThinkGeek, which ended up being perhaps one of the most beloved April Fools joke among geeks. So while there’s no doubt that the Taun Taun Sleeping bag is pretty darn awesome, it makes one wonder if anything Taun Taun can really ever top it. Enter Heidi Kenney and her hand made Plush Taun Taun with a very cold Luke Skywalker.
It was made for the upcoming summer Stitch Wars show and is based off the scene from “The Empire Strikes Back” where Han Solo spills the guts of a dead Taun Taun and saves Luke by shoving him literally into the the belly of the beast in order to keep him warm. Really, without Han and his quick thinking there wouldn’t have been a “Return of the Jedi,” which may or may not have been a good thing…
From her site:
The Tauntaun’s stomach opens with a zipper so you can use your own lightsaber to pretend to cut him open, awww heartwarming! Haha..
According to Kenney, the plus is not fully complete it, but you get the idea.
