When I think of savings on my weekly grocery bill, I can’t say that the Masters of The Universe’s Skeletor is the first thing that pops into my head. I guess that’s OK, because the British company, Moneysupermarket doesn’t actually sell food. They are a price comparison app for things like insurance. Besides, who cares!?! Look at Skeletor! There he is, dancing his way down to the market to the theme song from the movie, Fame. Hell, He-Man is even there just to tell him how “Money Supermarket” he is.
From what I can tell, this is the latest in a line of “epic dancing” ads that the company has put out in the last couple of years. I just hope that they continue it with more pop culture characters in the future. Check out the ad as well as some of its predecessors below.
