A couple of days ago, we posted a behind the scenes video of an upcoming web series starring Neil Patrick Harris and the Henson Alternative Puppets called Neil’s Puppet Dreams. Well, the first episode just hit and it is pretty great. Sure, it is dark and disturbing, but it also got me laughing like the old Muppet Show Sketches used to do.
Every episode of this new web series will feature a narcoleptic Neil Patrick Harris as he falls asleep and has a different type of dream starring only him and the Henson Puppets. The first episode, The Lullabye, is based around the classing falling dream.
Admittedly, the song portion of this sketch starts off a bit slow, but it is very funny by the end.
Along with Harris and the puppets, the series also co-stars NPH’s real life husband, David Burka.
The new series is set for a two-episode premiere, June 4 on Disney+.
